Meet the founder
Ellies Design was founded by Elham Zare, a Los Angeles–based architectural designer with a Master of Architecture from Woodbury University and an Interior Design Certificate from the Academy of Art University.
Elham has over ten years of experience in architectural and interior design. She has designed more than 100 ADUs, garage conversions, and full home remodels across Los Angeles. She also worked at Kenneth Park Architects (KPA), contributing to high-end retail projects for brands such as Veronica Beard, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, and Forever 21.
With in-depth knowledge of California building codes and permitting processes, combined with a creative design vision, Elham approaches every project with honesty, care, and precision.
Her philosophy is simple:
Treat every project as if it were her own, balancing city requirements, client goals, and timeless design.
Building Ellies Design
After years of working with different firms and collaborating on diverse projects, Elham decided to use her experience to start her own company. She envisioned a practice built on honesty, integrity, and care, where every client’s needs are truly understood.
Today, Ellies Design is powered by a team of highly educated professionals each with a Master’s degree in architecture or design, and strong professional backgrounds. Our team members bring years of real-world experience, from residential design and ADUs to high-end retail and interior design. Together, we combine technical expertise with creativity to deliver designs that are both beautiful and practical.
